Investor's Revenge: The Haru Invest Stabbing Case:
In August 2024, during a court hearing related to the Haru Invest fraud case, Kang stabbed the company's CEO, Lee Hyung-soo, in the neck. Although Lee survived with non-life-threatening injuries, Kang was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Prosecutors are seeking a 10-year prison sentence, while his defense argues for a lesser charge, citing emotional distress and lack of intent to kill.
